ikea furniture

I had a trip to ikea over the weekend to go and get some flat pack furniture for my little girls new bedroom. we ended up going for a palin white colour as her room is pink. They do a white wood finish but they don't list the plain white on the website so we ended up calling ikea the night before and i shot through in the morning.

we finnihsed putting it together last night we only got 3 sets of draws but one is more like two realy long. once you get familiar with building ikea flat pack its pretty easy to knock together but it still seems to take ages, i always feel that the draws take the longest.

Anyway its all in place now and we are just waiting on her bed, we had a quick tot up last night on how much it cost and we reckonn we've spent around £600

The ikea furniture was £200 then some next stuff we bought was probably about £100, paint about £50 and her bed which is going to be around £300, but this bed will do her till shes in her teens as its a single.

London Riots TV Coverage

I was laid in bed last night watching live tv coverage of the London riots. I cant remeber what time i tuned in, but they where watching a furniture store on fire in Croydon and at the start it didnt look to bad, but 30 minutes in and the whole shop was engulfed in flames a shop over the road had gone up in flames to due to heat (i guess) and or the flames spreading over the road.

Tonight will be an interesting viewing as i guess it will probably continue but will it be the same scales as last night worse, or will there be such a big police presence that people will stay in doors.

I know it sounds bad but i rather enjoyed watching it all unfold and seeing varying tits that where clearly caught on camera with faces uncovered. Lets face it if your going to loot from your local t mobile shop then at least wear something to cover your face.

You may ask why mr Cloque but i thought it sounded like clock and people say i am a clock watcher at work so i thought this could be my new alias for my blog.
